I will do my best to keep this first post short.  I will not offer discount codes or outlandish promises.  I will do my best to share the information I have learned that has helped me and others.  I will share a variety of strategies and lifestyles that you can try so that you may build the tools you need to live your life to the fullest.

In order to optimize your life, you will need to eat food that is functional.  The food should love your body.  If you often feel less than amazing, well then you’re in the right place.  It will be time for you to begin the process to dial in on what is not working, and make the necessary changes so that you can be the best version of you.

The first step in learning what to eat is accountability.  Food and nutrition is not just about details regarding vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients.  I am not trying to downplay any scientific facts.  The first step is you taking accountability for your health outcomes.  All the decisions you have made, and how you feel mentally, emotionally, and physically, whether good or bad, are a result of the choices you have made.  I do believe some of you have made good choices and bad choices as well.  I also believe that we often make choices we think have no consequence but are not yet aware of the subtleties regarding how they are affecting our health.  So if you are not satisfied with your life mentally, emotionally, or physically, well you have made choices that have led to a less than optimal state.  This can appear to be a shocking reality.  It can hit you like a brick at first to think your pain and suffering is the result of choices you have made as opposed to circumstances out of your control.  There will always be circumstances out of our control, but there are still many choices we do in fact make.  These less than optimal choices have ended up hurting us on some level.   I will go into greater detail in the future on the choices I have made that hurt me.  Essentially, my choices turned circumstances into problems on top of problems.  I was the problem and it took me a good deal of time and reflection to realize I was the solution.

So here it is!  You are the problem, and you are the solution.  You might not have acted in your own best interests.  Forgive yourself.  Forgive, let go, and move on.  We must forgive ourselves for past mistakes as we take positive action to a better future.  Now you can make a committment to yourself.  You now act in your best interests.  You might not know yet, but you will learn to make the decisions you need to in order to set yourself up for success.  Commit to finding solutions and do not give up.  I have created this because I do believe in you.  I believe in our potential for greatness.  I cannot promise it will be easy.  It will be a challenge, but we must learn to love challenge.

So be your own hero.  Be the solution.  Take charge of your health, and commit to finding and figuring out what will work best for you.  Know that you are not alone.  I will do my best to support you in your journey.

Thank you.

Take care, and make epic choices!
